🔴 Zero Tolerance Towards Ragging
At Scholars College of Education, we uphold the highest standards of discipline, dignity, and respect within our campus. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for every student. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the campus, hostels, transportation, and surrounding areas.
Students are directed not to involved in ragging or any type of such activity. If any students is found involved in ragging, he/she will be rusticated by the College and the FIR may be lodge by the college, as per the law, laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide its order date 16th MAY 2007.
🚫 What Constitutes Ragging?
Ragging includes any of the following acts:
- Verbal or physical abuse, teasing, or harassment
- Mental or psychological harm
- Forced activities that cause embarrassment or discomfort
- Any act that affects the dignity of a student
- Bullying, intimidation, or pressure to perform degrading tasks
- Online or social media harassment
⚖️ Consequences of Ragging
Any student found guilty of ragging shall face strict disciplinary action, which may include:
- Immediate suspension or expulsion from the institution
- Cancellation of admission
- Lodging of FIR with local police authorities
- Debarring from appearing in university examinations
- Withholding of degrees or academic records
- Any other action deemed necessary by the Anti-Ragging Committee
🛡️ Preventive Measures & Support
- An Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad have been constituted, comprising faculty, staff, and senior students.
- Regular awareness programs, orientation sessions, and undertakings from students and parents are mandatory at the time of admission.
- 24x7 complaint mechanism and direct reporting to the Principal or Anti-Ragging Committee.
- Confidentiality of the complainant will be maintained.
